Walking into the Daniels Center Conference Room to address USW faculty during this year’s convocation made me realize how truly blessed we are to have such an amazing group of educators. And it does not stop there. We also have an outstanding and incredibly dedicated group of coaches, staff members and administrators. And let’s not forget the students, for they are the reason we are all here.

On July 28, 2017 USW held its first commencement at the Lea County Correctional Facility for this cohort. Twenty-one men from this group received either a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Studies or a Certificate for program completion. But it made me think back to my first day “in prison”.

Caryn returned Sunday afternoon from a week-long retreat at Ghost Ranch. Of course she took pictures, and so I thought I would share one here.
